60 startups across digital, health and space pitched at the Luxembourg Venture Days. Ultimately, only 20 were selected to participate in the Fit 4 Start programme.
Following its 14th edition, Luxembourg’s Fit 4 Start programme received 420 applications from nearly 70 countries for its 15th edition, making it the second-highest participation rate ever. Among the applicants, startups from Luxembourg, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France were the most represented.
At the 2024 Luxembourg Venture Days, 60 entrepreneurs from digital, health, and space sectors presented their pitches. By the event’s conclusion, 20 startups were selected for the latest edition: 11 in digital, 5 in health technologies, and 4 in space.

DataSecure Anti-Ransomware by Cortex Security: An AI-powered cybersecurity solution from Luxembourg designed to protect businesses against ransomware threats.
Elora Call: This Luxembourg platform enables businesses to create their own AI-powered Helpdesk within an hour.
Essembl: An AI fashion advisor in Luxembourg that offers personalized outfit suggestions, styling tips, and smart shopping advice based on user preferences.
LetzTrail: A platform connecting trails, friends, and local businesses to enhance outdoor experiences in Luxembourg.
MAIC OS: Luxembourg’s first full workflow and guest engagement SaaS operating system for the hospitality sector.
Social Cooling: A Luxembourg startup that provides plug-and-play air conditioning solutions to help businesses and governments manage workspace temperatures effectively.
TradDocs: Based in South Korea, this AI solution processes unstructured text for international trade, streamlining contract execution while reducing costs.
VizyOnAir: A Luxembourg-based startup offering smart, GPS-equipped shipping containers that can be monitored globally.
Wequity: A Belgian platform that helps ESG professionals and auditors streamline compliance tasks, saving time and resources.
Health
GlaciesBiome: A Luxembourg-based company transforming skincare through microbiome analysis, AI, and computer vision, offering highly personalized diagnostics and optimized skincare regimens.
Global Particle Therapy: Based in the United States, this startup provides cancer patients with access to affordable, advanced proton therapy.
Helical: An open-core AI platform from Luxembourg designed to help pharmaceutical companies accelerate and transform their drug discovery processes.
TrialCraft: A Belgian AI medical writing tool that assists medical writers in daily tasks, streamlining their workflow.
ZenZen: A German startup offering 24/7 personalized support, meal planning, data tracking, and emotional assistance for pregnant women managing diabetes.
Space
Aeon: A Luxembourg-based company providing real-time centimeter-level GNSS positioning accuracy, offering an alternative or complementary solution to existing real-time positioning services.
ESGSAT: Based in Puerto Rico, this startup offers innovative data analytics software that transforms ESG performance evaluation for financial institutions and fund managers.
Exobiosphere: The first space-based platform from Luxembourg, designed to accelerate drug discovery by utilizing microgravity for faster and more precise biological insights.
TerraEye: A Luxembourg startup delivering streamlined and automated remote sensing solutions tailored for geological consulting firms.
New action plan
Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, also addressed the entrepreneurs and investors present, announcing a new action plan to strengthen support for startups. “Luxembourg offers a dynamic ecosystem that we will continue to develop,” he stated, adding that the government is committed to ensuring startups have the best environment for growth, innovation, and success.
The newly announced action plan will introduce measures designed to support startups throughout their lifecycle, from early stages to scaling up. These initiatives will focus on enhancing resources like the Technoport incubator and the Luxembourg National Research Fund to aid spinoff development.
