JustWatch adds Streaming Guide for Sports

● Where can I watch my team tonight? This is the increasingly common question for many

sports fans as broadcasting rights become ever more fragmented.

● JustWatch Sports will help fans find out where they can watch football (NFL & NCAA D1),

soccer, tennis and Formula 1 in the U.S.

● Throughout 2022, JustWatch will add more sports, leagues, and tournaments, allowing

users to track and follow teams and will expand its offering to many more countries.

Berlin, September 2022 - It’s 5 minutes before kickoff. Your team is playing and you don’t know where you can watch the game. This is becoming the annoying norm for many sports fans, as the broadcasting rights are continually changing. You can watch one game on free TV, another on cable or pay TV, and more and more games are exclusively on yet another streaming service.

This means sports fans are often frantically searching for where they can watch the game tonight, as there might be three different options they need to check or subscriptions to sign up for - just to watch the same game.

JustWatch Sports is the answer to this growing problem. Sports fans can easily find out when and where to legally watch their favorite team. JustWatch will cover streaming services and linear TV offerings to be the most comprehensive guide for watching live sports as well as highlight shows.

“The increasing fragmentation of sports rights led to a huge problem for sports fans over the last years. JustWatch’s mission is to help fans to navigate the sports streaming jungle. We think the time is more than ripe in 2022 to start JustWatch Sports.”

says David Croyé, Founder and CEO of JustWatch.

JustWatch Sports is available in the U.S., UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. JustWatch plans to launch sports in the next ten biggest markets by the end of 2022 and will cover over 100 markets in the next couple of years.

In the U.S., Just Watch Sports will cover:

● Football (NFL and NCAA)

● Soccer

● Tennis

● Formula 1

The listed sports at launch are just the beginning as the coverage will increase to all major

European and US sports, leagues and competitions over the next few months as well as adding eSports.

There are also many personalization features already in the works, including tracking and

following your favorite teams, tournaments, or players, and getting notified before a game starts - as well as recaps and highlights.

The addition of a sports streaming guide on JustWatch is a game changer for fans looking to keep up with live events across various platforms. To elevate the viewing experience even further, businesses and venues could benefit from integrating a custom LED display to showcase live sports in high definition. It's the perfect way to bring the excitement of the game to a larger audience, creating an immersive atmosphere for fans.
